There are days when I ask myself what I am thankful for.....My father had a five by-pass heart surgery back in November. It scared myself and my family.....I love him dearly he is an awesome father, grandfather and friend. I thank god everyday that he made a full recovery.

Bible Study

Today was my first day of bible study.....We had watched a video on Christianity and how it all started.....I have to say Colleen McLean who is a wonderful educator on this really makes it interesting. I am a practicing Catholic and what I thought I new about how it became about and how long ago is enlightening. I Had not been a practicing Catholic but when I met my husband of nine years I had started going again.....I lost a lot of what I had known back than.......I hope this will help me and make my kids more excited about going to church and religious eductation classes.

Mid life crisis

Is there a time in your life where you say to yourself....Gee, what do you want to do with you life. I am a 39 year old woman, a mother of three and a stay at home mom. I told my husband today that I am not sure what I want to do with my life. Kind of depressing I know. He thinks I am in a mid-life crisis. Maybe, I am......That does not make it easier trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. ;-)

My battle of weight is going pretty good. I have lost 10 pds and feel really good.......

Have some cool pics that we took the other day. I will post and tell me what you think....They are beautiful pictures of freezing frost on the trees. Spokane is a beautiful place to live.

New Year

I have not blogged in a long time......Have been busy. My father got sick in November and ever since than it has been a crazy last couple of months. Spokane has had record snow in the month of December, which made the kids get out of school two days early for Christmas vacation. They just went back as of today. We have been having huge ice melts. My stress level has been greatly reduced. Not that I do not love my kids being home. I do so, but I love the peace and quiet and time to myself.

I do not like News Years resoloutions, they seem to never to stick for me. Instead I have goals. My faith is important, but I have to say that it has not been on my top five. BUT, ever since my dad got sick it made me change the way I am thinking. I am grateful that he was not taken away. I am also very grateful for my family and friends that I have. Over the year I gained a little to much weight. My goal is to get fit and eat a little bit more healthy. Goal weight is to lose 25 pounds. It is going to be tough but I think I can do it. Being more organized is a top one for me. Frugal, has never been me, but I have been inspired to try. Not saying that I am not still going to the gap, etc., but cut down my spending. Will see how it goes.

Blogging is very new to me so I hope I do not sound like I am rambling.

What a night we had trick or treating with good friends and family!!! The kids were all dressed in fun and crazy costumes.
